This is my first post! I thought a spin on Vogue’s “73 questions” might be a fun way to introduce myself and start off this blog. I hope you can learn a little more about me from this post and maybe even connect with a few things.
1. What song will you never get tired of?
Dancing on My Own cover by The Regrettes, it will always boost my mood.
2. What celebrity inspires your fashion sense?
Gracie Abrams. Bows are one of my favourite accessories and blue converse are on my current wish list!
3. What is the last piece of media to make you cry?
The song Graceland Too by Phoebe Bridgers.
4. What is your favourite punctuation mark/rule?
Yesterday, I would have said the oxford comma. However, I just learned about the interrobang (a cross between a question mark and an exclamation mark), and that has definitely taken the top spot.
5. What is one thing you’re currently obsessed with?
As of right now, I’m loving anything light pink. I just bought a hydroflask in a very pretty light pink colour!
6. What was the colour of your childhood bedroom?
Light green/yellow.
7. What is your favourite piece of clothing you own?
I bought a pair of pyjama bottoms from Old Navy last year during their Christmas sale that I still wear all the time (even in June!). They are navy blue with santas, stars, and mirrorballs on them. I just think they are really fun and remind me of Taylor Swift!
8. What is an item on your to-buy list?
A picnic blanket to use this summer.
9. What is your dream concert?
My dream concert is one I am going to in the fall! It will be insane to see Gracie Abrams and Taylor Swift in the same night.
10. What is your favourite meal to cook?
I make vodka pasta constantly.
11. What is something you strongly believe in?
That everything will work out, regardless of what you choose to do.
13. An album that matches your vibe right now?
Probably The Secret of Us by Gracie Abrams! It came out on recently and is the perfect summer album for me.
14. Do you prefer facetime or messages?
Almost always messages.
15. What book, if any, have you given 5 stars?
This Can Never Not Be Real by Sera Milano!
16. What is something you never leave the house without?
Besides my phone, I would say my airpods.
17. What is your favourite talent that you have?
I do all-star cheer, which I love telling people about because it isn’t super common!
18. What is a talent you wish you had?
I wish I could play piano! I started learning guitar this year, but I’m not taking it very seriously, so progress has been pretty slow. It’s really cool to be able to play my favourite songs though!
19. What is your favourite fast food restaurant?
Tim Hortons for sure.
20. What is your favourite colour?
Either light pink or navy blue, I can’t pick!
21. What is your least favourite colour?
Probably orange. I don’t mind light shades, but bright orange is just a bit too much for me.
22. What is the best time of day?
Just before sunset!
23. What is the best compliment you have recieved?
Someone told me one time that my smile was infectious, which meant a lot to me and I think about it all the time!
24. What is your favourite book genre?
Two opposite sides of the spectrum, but I love either romance or thrillers.
25. What is the next book on your TBR?
Lavender House by Lev A.C. Rosen.
26. What is the best thing to have happened so far this year?
I became closer with some friends who are really amazing!!
27. What is your lockscreen?
I have had a silhouette of Phoebe Bridgers on stage in front of a moon background as my lockscreen for a few years now.
28. What is your favourite thing to do by yourself?
Driving while listening to music!
29. What is something new you learned recently?
I moved from a level 2 team to a 4.2 team at cheer this year, so I have been learning new stunts! It’s super fun to up the difficulty and try new things.
30. What is your favourite place to shop?
Either Value Village or Garage.
31. What new artist have you discovered lately that you love?
Chappell Roan! Pink Pony Club, Good Luck, Babe!, and a few others have been on repeat the last few weeks.
32. What are your love languages?
Words of affirmation and receiving gifts.
33. What is your favourite kind of weather?
Sunny weather over rainy weather ALWAYS!
34. What is the best candle scent?
Nothing beats a vanilla candle. Lately, I’ve been loving Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla from Bath and Body Works.
35. What is your favourite piece of decor in your bedroom?
My friend made me a vase of crochet flowers for my birthday and they are so so pretty!
36. What are three items that are worth splurging on?
Jeans that you love, an electric heating pad, and a good water bottle.
37. What career did you believe you were going to go into when you were a child?
I thought I was going to be an author.
38. What is one movie on your to-watch list?
Dead Poets Society has been on my list for a while now.
39. What is something you have been putting off for too long?
Getting my ears pierced.
40. What is your current t.v. show obsession?
Criminal Minds!
41. What is your go to accessory to make an outfit more interesting?
Definitely a claw clip or a tote bag.
42. What is your favourite thing to do outside?
I love taking my dog on walks! He also loves it 🙂

13,395. I’ve been told that is a lot and I should be deleting photos more often…?

45. What is the best location you have visited?
I went to Paris over christmas break this year! It was so so pretty and seeing the Eiffel Tower sparkle was unbelievable.
46. What is something you want to accomplish in the next few years?
I want to get into a good university and make some new friends!
47. What is an unpopular opinion you have?
I hate the taste of mint.
48. What is your go-to hairstyle?
A half-up half-down with a mini claw clip.
49. What is the best way to waste time?
Scrolling through pinterest.
50. Who do you expect to be your top 3 artists on spotify wrapped this year?
I would guess Taylor Swift, Gracie Abrams, and Noah Kahan.
51. What is your favourite app on your phone?
Either Spotify or TikTok.
52. What is your favourite self-care practice?
I journal regularly, which I find really helpful!
53. What is your favourite song lyric?
“Always an angel, never a god” from the song Not Strong Enough by Boygenius.
54. What is your most used perfume?
I bought a perfume from Marks & Spencer while I was in the UK called Pink Pepper. I would say it smells a little spicy with a mix of vanilla and fruity notes. So so pretty!
55. What is the prettiest flower?
Tulips.
56. What is a song you need to hear live?
Mess It Up by Gracie Abrams would be SO FUN live!!
57. Which heart emoji do you use most often?

58. What is one thing you are grateful for?
I am really greatful for my mom! She is incredible.
59. What is something that made you smile recently?
My mom bought my dog a bucket of dog toys, which he absolutely loved. It was so fun to watch him get excited about all of the options!
60. What is the best month of the year?
August is definitely my favourite. The weather starts to cool down but I still don’t have school.
61. What is your favourite board game?
Monopoly.
62. What is your Favourite candy?
Jolly ranchers.
63. What shoes do you wear most often?
Black high-top converse.
65. What is your Favourite drink?
A shirley temple with significantly more soda than orange juice.
66. What would someone find in your notes app?
SO many to-do lists, wish lists, and a list of surprise songs that would make me fall to the floor from excitement.
67. What is the best concert you’ve been to?
Gracie Abrams’ Good Riddance Tour in Toronto! It was my first time in GA and was so much fun.
68. Do you volunteer?
Yes! I volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters as a mentor.
69. What food would you bring to a function?
Definitely a dessert, likely brownies.
70. Do you go to bed late or wake up early?
I am in bed as early as possible, but I won’t go to sleep until around 10. I like to wake up pretty early too, around 7 or 8.
71. What is a title of one of your spotify playlists?
“tried and true blue”, a lyric from a Boygenius song called True Blue. The playlist has songs about genuine friendships and it feels so warm and sweet.
72. What is your favourite podcast?
Madeline Argy’s Pretty Lonesome podcast is my favourite at the moment.
73. What is a trait that is critical in any relationship?
Communication.
