As I start to write this, it’s sinking in how insane of an experience The Eras Tour was. The impact Taylor has made through this tour is so so huge and she’s created such a beautiful community. I feel so grateful to have been a part of it. This post is going to be more of a scrapbook style, but I feel like that’s the best way to represent the experience. My hope is that anyone who hasn’t been to a show can feel some of the magic, and those who have been to the show can appreciate reliving the moment.

I made my outfit around Gracie’s song “Us.” that features Taylor. Taylor and Gracie are my top two artists, so this collab was absolutely everything to me. I wish you could have seen my face when the Toronto dates were announced and I saw Gracie was the opener…

Gracie was magical. It was such a full circle moment seeing a stadium light up for her after going to her last show in Toronto in a 2,500 person venue. She is so talented and her vocals were actually ethereal.

The clock… absolutely terrifying.

Yet another nostalgic moment: seeing Taylor a second time! I saw Taylor during the Rep tour in 2018. There were a few moments in the show that felt like déjà vu, like during Ready For It…? and when the lights turned green during surprise songs. I absolutely love that Taylor has light up bracelets for her shows, it makes it so much more immersive!
Taylor was perfect. Her performance skills are so incredible—I am always so amazed at her stamina.
I find it so fun to compare expectations vs reality when it comes to concerts, as my favourite parts always differ. I was expecting TTPD to be my favourite set, but I think I was getting tired by that point and I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would. Although I did LOVE TSMWEL! My favourite eras were definitely Red and 1989, but my favourite performance was ICDIWABH.

The aftermath of the concert…
I traded most of the bracelets I made and got to chat with some really lovely people because of this. I met the sweetest little girl across the aisle from me and was able to trade bracelets with her.
My one disappointment was that I left right at the end of Karma so that I could catch the train, but I guess I left just slightly too early because my bracelet stopped lighting up 😦
This was the most special night and I hope everyone got to feel some of the magic from this tour, whether that was through livestreams or at shows. The sense of community I felt at this show was so unique I loved every second of it.
All the love,
Grace
